The diversity of flowers on Pitcairn

Walking around on Pitcairn Island the captain was fascinated by how lush the island was. He was particularly fascinated by the variety of flowers we found. So, after we had walked around for an hour, he started taking pictures of every new flower he found.

As we were actually on a hike it took forever to get anywhere, due to all of the blooming around us constantly seeking his attention. But, at least we got some rest from the intense island heat while he got his shots.

The captain would like to mention that he had a wide angle-lens on the camera, which is not exactly the best for flower shooting, but he is pretty happy with the result.

Below are the 58 different flowers that he found during our hike.
