Pit stop in Miami

On our way back from Norway, we made a five day pit stop in Miami. We stayed in beautiful Coconut Grove, a little South of the city.

We spent one day shopping for some boat parts, and driving from the North to the South on Miami Beach.

We also made it to Key West, back and forth in one day, but not without getting fined for speeding…

Bruse has a friend from his youth living in Jamaica, who now lives in Miami. They had not seen each other for 41 years! So, this was a great opportunity to catch up!

Cristian and Bruse

Cristian and his wife, Maria Elena, were so nice to host us for dinner, as well as organizing a lovely BBQ in their beautiful garden with several family members.

For the last evening, Cristian’s sister Lorena, and her husband, Jim, were so kind as to host us on the local yacht club.

We were truly so thankful for all of the time we spent together, and all of the efforts everyone went through to ensure we had a lovely time! 🤩

We leave Miami hoping it won’t be long until we return. Love this city 💕
